Wonderful gem! We were headed to Crackerbarrel off the highway and passed this place first. The k GOODNESS we stopped so much better than the chain! Great breakfast, terrific prices and bake goods! Don't miss it.

Old fashioned restaurant serving home cooking. They could use some more help, the server seemed good, just overwhelmed. All the food was good; I wasn't expecting a James Beard experience, just a home style meal and that is what I got. Will be back.

What a great lunch on our way to Nashville! The fish of the day was the flounder and it was slammin! My friends and sandwixhes had sandwiches and they were amazing! All of the breads are baked in house! The lemon meringue pie was amazing! The hospitality was beautiful, thank you Mrs. Rowe for feeding my belly and soul.

Birthday Breakfast with the 33 year old. As always, a comfortable experience. We'll be back for pie!

Tasty pork loin. Generous portion of meatloaf. The gravy was the real star. Then, there was the can't miss peanut butter pie! Service was fast! We came at lunch on a weekday. Ambiance is wood/country decor .

We were on the road trip and decided to spend the night in VA. This place is right around the corner from our hotel and we wanted to give it a shot for a quick breakfast before we headed out. Our breakfast was amazing. French toast were perfect. We also order the usual eggs and toast along with hash browns and few other other things. The atmosphere is astounding and the employees were very friendly. It wasn't busy and from what I gather the majority of the customers are regulars. Over all, delicious food, sweetest hostess and wait staff, reasonable prices, very cute roadside restaurant. They have been open for 70+ years so it must be good. Make sure to leave room for THE PIE!!
